The Consistent Assistant

Your Satisfaction Is Our Priority

What is the Consistent Assistant?

Helping people is something I find interesting and fulfilling. I discovered my affinity for helping people with their daily lives a couple of years ago when I went to see my Uncle Toby in Florida. He had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease and it had taken a toll on his ability to function normally.  He had some home health care assistance but really needed someone there to deal with day to day tasks. While I was with him, I noticed his mood and condition improved. What I took from this is that when people are challenged by life events, stress builds and tends to escalate negative feelings, making even routine things seem arduous and tiring. It would be gratifying if my errand-running and odd job business makes my clients’ lives a little less stressful.

Running Errands

Besides grocery delivery, this includes picking up dry cleaning, going to the grocery store or market, going to the pharmacy, going to pick anything you have ordered at a store location (such as something you purchased as a gift, etc.) and any other errands that you may be too busy to do.

Cooking

I am not a professional chef but I do enjoy cooking on a personal level and consider myself intermediately skilled in pastry and general cooking. If the client were to ask for suggestions , help , or need me to cook everything myself due to time constraints, I would be happy to assist in that way.

Cleaning

I would not consider myself an expert on all domestic things but have a general amount of knowledge on residential cleaning. If a client needed or wanted time to do something else but had a special cleaning project that needed to be done then I could, in most cases, do that for them.
